In the architectural design of the object, the accent was given to the principles of simplicity, while respecting the basic principles of already shaped inherited, old city core. The basic volume of the library is derived from the volume of the existing object, as well as the roof level, which represents a logical continuation of the existing roof geometry planes. The communication between the new and the old is achieved by connecting and using modern materials to establish a differentiation between the existing and the upgraded part of the building.
