Business object Banca Intesa, Belgrade

33512 ㎡

Modern business-residential buildings in the surroundings, open block building, corner motif, wide boulevards, the possibility of looking at the object from a greater distance, are some of the parameters that significantly influenced the formation of the designed concept. On the other hand, the solution of the entry zone at the corner was emphasized as an important architectural element by introducing visitors into the central two-story hall, from which further distribution of parties is carried out by panoramic elevators and galleries. The concept was derived from finding an adequate proportion in the design of the basic volume of the object at the corner and the pronounced angular monovolume. Dynamics, motion, the play is achieved by “tilting” the corner part of the object from a common orthogonal matrix. The building is designed as a standard two-tier with the position of technical rooms in the central corridor which maximizes the possibility of enlightenment, ventilation, and the opening of views permitted by the location in New Belgrade. Within the ground floor, a presentation hall with the possibility of opening to public facilities and fountains was formed. On the highest level of the basic building corridor, there is a restaurant for employees with roof garden and visuals on the river Danube.
