„…Location for which this competition was announced is situated in the core of Vraèar, in the immediate vicinity of the Temple of Saint Sava. The fact that there is a need to replace the existing, decrepit, historical building fund, clearly indicates the necessity to reconsider architectural attitudes towards this part of Belgrade.
…Inspiration should be sought in taking into account the experiences, as well as in keeping pace with new, contemporary times.
The solution is based on a clear organization of layout and simple composition of the façade. Opinion of the authors was that the building should unobtrusively been incorporated into its surrounding. Great attention has been dedicated to the proportions of openings on the facade cladding. The scale of muted colors following the determination of residential from the business area, contributes to such attitude. Interior orga¬nization is characterized by a high level of flexibility, which is of particular importance in the commercial area of the building…“
