Villa L, Belgrade

The conditions of the subject location have directly influenced the design engagement, selection, and determination. The need to build a house appropriate for the place and beneficiaries, and yet close to aesthetic criteria of the author, and thereby to his character, the definition of the urban villa has resulted in the house completely oriented towards its inner space. In this way, the lack of quality orientation and visions, privacy, has been neutralized, and yet the attributes of a villa have been retained.
The intention of the author was to realize a spatial continuum by using a circular form framing the standard orthogonal contents, followed by the same approach in forming a housing volume, but also by confronting different forms supported by a monochromatic facade.
