“A space has been created that radiates its own spirit and mystery, which gives this house a timeless dimension” Dijana Milašinović Marić, Between luxury and moderation, Enterijer magazine, 2005.
The basic concept of the building is the closed facade or “wall” towards the street and large facade openings, balcony doors, windows to the yard. In relation to the “wall” towards the interior, a gallery with a hole and vertical communication is made. A residential, family house is facing the courtyard and the ambiance of the garden with the existing avenue. Facade elements are combined with brick and stone type travertine. All elements of architecture and interior were analyzed and created within the concept of total design. The roof is hidden on the street by an attack and a studio has been formed within its space.
“Although in recent years Belgrade has received several very interesting houses with brick facades, on the corner of Braća Grim and Kopernikova streets, in Stojana Novaković, Kursulina, Vukica Mitrović, Partijarha Varnava, it seems that the villa in Belgrade’s Temišvarska Street, designed by architects Jelena Ivanović Vojvodić and Vasilija Milunović, with its Belgian rustic bricks and gray-toned joints, brought the dressing of the house with bare structures to a very high level”, Bojan Kovačević, Politika newspaper, Faces of the city, 2014.
