According to the project assignment, the interior of the shop in Mackenzijeva street was adapted into a catering-type composition: a market and a bakery. The premises are spread over two levels, the basement level and the ground floor level. In the basement level, there is an economic zone where there are electrical appliances. and machine sheds, warehouses and a part of dish preparation/washing, while on the ground floor there is an exhibition area with a bakery for the preparation of specialized types of pizza. The ground floor level visually consists of three units. At the entrance, there is a bakery with a pizza oven. According to the project assignment, it is planned to keep visitors and customers for a short time, so there are four bar tables in the entrance area. The display cases and cash desk are lined with dark chipboard and visually separate the kitchen and dining areas. The unique and dynamic ambience is also contributed by the combination of bricks, light oak univar finishes and dark ceramics that cover the walls in zone one. There is a market in zone two. There are shelves on the walls for displaying cereal products. In that part of the interior, light tone, neutral shades, which are associated with nature and the color of cereals, prevail. The walls are painted in a light tone chosen by the designer. At the bottom of the ground floor, a third unit was formed, a market for the sale of wine and exclusive food products. The interior is a combination of dark oak tones with appropriate details that make it luxurious and attractive. Considering that in this zone the walls are covered with the exhibition surface, and are not visible, only their washing and protection with appropriate coatings is foreseen. Shop window formed from aluminum profiles, with thermopane glass elements in the tone and finishing according to the designer’s choice. It consists of two independent parts, with integrated elements of the window, that is, the entrance door with a suitable handle.
