Villa J, Belgrade

The conditions of the subject location have directly influenced the design engagement, selection, and determination. Together with villas A, M and L represent a unique concept gathered around Gemax making a unique spatial unit. The need to build a house appropriate for the place and beneficiaries, and yet close to aesthetic criteria of the author, and thereby to his character, the definition of the urban villa has resulted in the house completely oriented towards its inner space. In this way, the lack of quality orientation and visions, privacy, has been neutralized, and yet the attributes of a villa have been retained.

The author’s intention to establish a spatial continuum by sublimation, and by coalescence, of various forms came to the realization.
