14000 ㎡

The sports hall in Subotica provided for by the competition solution is intended for organizing sports, cultural, entertainment, exhibition and other manifestations. The basic dimensions of the building are 87x75m distributed over the ground floor and two above-ground floors, with a total gross developed construction area of 14,000m2. The main reference point of the urban project is the sports hall with accompanying external facilities such as the central access square, open sports fields, green recreational areas and open parking spaces for 117 cars and 5 buses. The main playground measures 26x46m and is surrounded on all sides by three-level stands with a total capacity of 5,000 to 6,500 spectators. VIP lounges with exclusive contents for visitors and media representatives are also included. The facility contains accompanying sports facilities, including a gym, a medical rehabilitation center, a bowling alley, changing rooms, a press center with a multifunctional hall, as well as accompanying service and technical areas. The circulation of users and visitors of all needs within the building is facilitated by continuous communication that takes place via footbridges, bridges and corridor spaces on all levels along with vertical access via staircases and lifts.
